Look what arrived in my mailbox, these lovely squares from Jenn!

The design is Manuela's Sunflower. She changed the border from green to my favorite color, Red :) and added some beads all around the border for some bling! DH was very impressed with the bling! The sunflowers on the signature square are from a breadcloth leaflet .. soooo cute! She also included a scissor fob she made herself .. said she had the beads already and they were a perfect match to the squares .. and they are! I also got a little angle she made from a couple of small beads .. the cats loved it! I moved it so the cats would leave it alone and forgot to get it before taking the picture lol

Here is a photo of the cute squares Jill sent me for the Thanksgiving round. She says the chart originally came from a Heart in Hand Kit, and she stitched the old Tom using Weeks and GAST threads. Isn't he adorable (despite my less than stellar photographic skills)?

Finish from Round #9

These delightful squares were stitched for me by Corinna, who knew I love to travel in my trailer with my fishing hubby. I made them into a cube to sit on the counter in my trailer.

Inspired by Heather Daly of Monsterbubbles, I decided to use cork for this one. It's attached by little brads left over from my scrapbooking days, and I stuck two large eyelets in the hole to hang it with. The squares were made by Martha B, who designed the plover herself.

Yesterday I received my round nine squares from Nicola. She knew from my blog that I like cottages and stitched this beautiful cottage from a Cross Stitcher Magazine. Like I said on my blog, I have never stitched a cottage so this will be the first. Perfect start, don't you think? Everyone have a nice night.

My family and I live in Baltimore, Maryland. I work part time at my son's school and have been stitching for over 25 years.
