Squares From Daniela

The Fair & Square Round 11 squares from my partner Daniela. She has stitched the most wonderful designs from a German sampler. I quote from Daniela's blog,

"The designs on both squares are from a northern German reproduction sampler dated from 1820. They are done in classic Biedermeier style, as many samplers are, that are found from that time in Germany and Austria."

Thank you Daniela, I really love the squares and I really look forward to doing a beautiful finish with them.

Received Winter Round from Sharon V.

I received my Winter Round Squares from Sharon V. on friday. The 1st photo's a bit blurry...still getting used to my new camera, but the 2nd shows the lovely squares Sharon stitched for me along with a strawberry she made me...My 1st ever strawberry! Thank you so much Sharon I love everything. Now to decide how to finish them up. I'm still working on Sharon's sqaure, but hope to have it done in the near future.

Wow, look at these beauties! I'd asked Dani to stitch me something Christmassy for Round 10 and she sure delivered - this design is the Glory Bee contribution to the JCS 2008 ornament issue. I love the colours - so vibrant!

Hi everyone! I am Karen T and live in South Carolina with my wonderful hubby and kitty. I have been lurking for a couple of months and love to see all of the beautiful squares that have been exchanged! I have been stitching for over 3o years and love Lizzy Kate, Bent Creek, Homespun Elegance, La D Da and Blackbird Designs to name a few, but pretty much stitch what I like. I love stitching, but also love papercrafting and rubber stamping. I love to make my own greeting cards. I rarely give away my stitching so I really enjoy exchanges and look forward to meeting all of you.
