I received my F&S Summer Exchange blocks from Jill F. and they are truly wonderful. Jill selected a very appropriate Lizzie Kate Design called “Summer Basket” and I could not be more pleased. What a wonderful design, I love the alphabet that surrounds the basket. Thank you so much Jill for these great squares!

Round 14 Squares Received
Hi,
I received my Round 14 squares from Jill F. They are very pretty, and it is to bad I couldn't get a better picture with my camera. She stitched a pattern for me that was in my to do pile, so I was able to remove it and add something else to stitch. It is from Prairie Schooler and was in last year's JCS Halloween issue.
Thank you so much Jill. I absolutely love it.
April :)

Summer Round and Round 14 received
The Summer Round from Malinda and the Round #14 from Kathy arrived sometime during this week. I was on a short vacation and when I came back I found lots of beautiful squares in the mail. And I love them all.
These are the Summer Squares from Malinda:
And these are the Round #14 squares from Kathy. Kathy read on my blog that my bike got stolen a little while ago, so she stitched one for me. This is so thoughtful.
Thank you both very much.

Long overdue Post!
This is my Round #13 exchange from Marie P. She sent me the loveliest squares, a Prairie Schooler lighthouse design -
Marie did a beautiful job stitching, and these are a very welcome addition to our lighthouse collection. I'm on the hunt for some proper finishing materials for a no-sew cube for this one.

Round 13 from Corinna
Corinna - I received the stunning replacement squares that you stitched for me for round 13. As one who adores samplers & sampler stitching, you're right, this design was absolutely perfect for me. Your stitching is beautiful, too! Thanks again for stepping up and stitching these for me. :)
July 16 Update: I somehow lost all the photos in my online photo album today. :( Once I get it all sorted out, I'll have the photo showing again. Sorry!

4th of July Round Complete
There is one that's not been posted as received but it was mailed on July 3rd so I'm sure it was received. I've learned that people don't always post their sendings or receivings. It's when I send out e-mails inquiring about them that I find out.
Thanks to all who participated and especially those who are kind enough to post when they mail and receive. I appreciate it. It makes my job so much easier.

Beautiful Squares from Round #13 and 4th of July
This post is a bit overdue but my computer has been having issues with the Blogger website ever since I updated Windows/Internet Explorer.
I received a gorgeous set of squares from Darla L. on July 2nd. She picked some of my favorite colors for this intricate pattern:
Thank you so much, I am sorry it took me so long to post!
Tonight I got home from work to find two very pretty 4th of July blocks in the mail from Neila C. I haven't been able to get the photo onto my computer yet but I will post the picture as soon as I can. Thanks you for the holiday squares Neila, I hope you enjoyed your vacation and I hope you will like the squares I stitched for you!

Round 13 to Claudia K.
I never heard from Claudia whether or not she received the squares I sent to her for Round 13. Sadly, nor did I receive any squares from her. Corinna has stepped in and graciously agreed to stitch replacement squares for me. In the meantime, Jill said I should go on and share a pic of what I sent to Claudia so others could see it.

Summer Round from Maren
I received these beautiful summer squares from Maren the other day. They remind me of the beach house we stay in each summer in North Carolina. Maren, I am almost done with your squares. Thanks for a wonderful exchange!

4th of July Square
I have mailed my 4th of July Square to my partner Carolyn L. Unfortunately I ended up mailing late, in spite of the fact that the stitching had been finished for ages. I got so involved in getting ready for vacation that I completely forgot to go to the post office. I apologize, Carolyn. I guess I really needed that vacation!

Fair Square Members
I hate to have to do this but I feel the need has arisen.
I want to remind you that if for some reason you are unable to meet a deadline, you MUST not only contact your partner, but you must contact the moderator also. Below is from the "Member Rules":
15.) Failing to meet a deadline or not following through with your swap will mean instant termination from participating in future swaps. Life happens and if something comes up that throws the stitcher off schedule, please contact your partner and the moderator so that arrangements and schedules can be arranged. Communication is key! if you do not communicate with your partner and the moderator and fail to meet the deadline after the 8 weeks of a round (6 weeks stitching + 2 weeks "clean up" period) . You will be deleted as a member - no questions asked. Fair and Squares is implementing immediately a ZERO tolerance on all members that fail to mail their exchanges and do not communicate with their moderators and partners.
If you do not keep the moderator in the loop, we do not know what is going on. I realize things come up in life which puts us behind. Believe me when I say I know. I lost my dad last week after being quite sick for about 3 weeks so I am playing catch up on some things also.
I am playing this by the rules that have been set and am not going to babysit anyone. We are all adults.
Thank you,
Jill
