I've been trying to catch up with some of my online blogging activities, particularly posting. Sometimes chasing a 1 year old around is not the best way of keeping focus on my own projects and a few things have fallen through the cracks. I am, however, making a conscious effort to get things caught up, starting with posting on this blog.

My partner for Round #19 way back in June was Linda B. Linda not only sent me these beautifully stitched squares, but when she saw that I had collected most of the rest of the fruit series, she asked if I had something special in mind with them. I told her that I had planned on stitching them over one, possibly as a bell pull for our kitchen, so in addition to the chart, she included the rest of the floss from the kit. Thank you, Linda!!!

I received this wonderful exchange from Linda B this weekend and just love it. We decided to "finish" our square and did a great job. I just love this design from Brenda Gervais so she picked the perfect design.

Karen and I agreed to finish our exchange this round. Look at the very cute treat bag she made me with a Homespun Elegance piece she stitched for me. My picture doesn't do it justice - but there's also a pumpkin charm hanging from the beak of the bird. Really, really cute. And she included a handmade card too. Thank you so very much Karen.

Halloween Squares from Lenna

I received my squares from Lenna for the Fair Square Halloween Round. They are so beautiful!

The design she stitched is from the Halloween issue of Just Cross Stitch. It is a Plum Street Samplers design, which I love. However, she switched up the design and fibers a bit which fit me better.



I just love what Lenna did with the design, especially the peacock!

What beautiful squares I received (and a homemade card) from Lenna for Round 21. She picked up from my profile that I love snowmen and stitched this very colorful guy for me. I don't think the picture does justice the scarf ends that have floss tails to mimic fringe - too cute! DH got a big smile when he saw them too. I just love these squares! She stitched Heart in Hand's Little Pumpkin in the Patch and added a a cute bat! Heart in Hand is one of my all time favorite designers ...

and here's the signature square ... she stitched our initials and added some of the motif from the main square ...
Can't wait to finish them ... I'm thinking a pinkeep :)
