Christmas round from Karen R

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.  My squares from Karen R came today :)  Thank you Karen -- it's lovely!  I love Christmas trees and glitter (all the little red berries are beads).  She also sent a card with little Aussie critters that made me smile when I opened it.

Again, thank you Karen.

Christmas Round received

I received the most awesome squares from Kaje! I've seen this Mill Hill pattern around, and always loved it, and I'm so grateful Kaje was willing to do all that solid stitching and beading! The picture doesn't show how sparkly and shiny it is. I can't wait to finish this into something beautiful!

Thanks so much, Kaje - I love it. :)

JCS 2010 Ornament Issue

Melissa P was my partner for the Christmas round and she stitched up these squares from the latest JCS ornament issue. Her stitching is just lovely, and her signature square is SO clever! It took me a minute to figure it out, but I love how creative she was with it.

I've been on an ornament finishing kick lately, and it's very possible that these squares will make it to our tree this year. YAY!

Thanks, Melissa!

Very Late Post

I received these a couple weeks ago and have been deliquent in posting. My picture does not do them justice. Kim V. stitched these lovely BBD squares for me for the Christmas Round! I love BBD but have very few of their patterns myself so being gifted with these is a real treat! Thanks, Kim!

Round 22 Squares from Chris B.

These are the lovely squares that I received from Chris B. They are stitched with overdyed floss.

We have not had internet or landline access for several days, and this is the first chance I've had to post. Comcast was supposed to come (and didn't show up), so I don't know if the issues have been resolved outside in the apt. juncture boxes, or if we are going to lose service again.

Chris, I really love these. I never got any pumpkins of my own finished, so I am happy to get this one. I could never have too many autumn designs!

Squares from Linda B.

I received these beautiful squares from Linda B. Linda stitched them for me in my favourite autumncolors. She even translated autumn into the dutch word "herfst". I'm very happy with these beauties and they definitely earn a place in the F&S friendshipquilt! Thanks Linda

From Jeanie C

Above are the squares I received earlier this week from Jeanie. I'm already so ready for spring that these are perfect! Thank you very much for stitching these for me Jeanie. I love them. (Pardon the poor scan but it's taken 4 days to get my ancient flatbed scanner to get one even this good.)

Squares from Nadia

Look at these wonderful squares that Nadia stitched for me! She found them on Needleprint.com and they are just perfect for me. Blue is my very favorite color and I love the Quaker style. Thank you so much for a great exchange. I'm enjoying reading Nadia's blog - she has such an eye for color. Linda B.
