4th of July squares from Carolyn F. "Finished"

Hi all! I finished my squares i rec'd from Carolyn F. last night into a little "bean bag" thingie to add to my patriotic display. I used the finishing technique from the biscournu's just made it square and used poly pellets to fill it up. I really like how it turned out.

July 4th squares received from Georgie

I just received a parcel from Georgie in today's mail. The squares are so lovely and perfectly stitched! (I'll post photos tomorrow after I take them home and give them a quick press with the iron.) She also sent a beautiful cut of red calico fabric, a spool of ribbon, a couple of skeins of DMC (one's a variegated blue and purple that I don't think I've seen before), and some very cute quilting pins inside a pretty blue drawstring bag.

I got my squares from Melissa in todays mail. WHat a wonderful way to start the weekend :) Sorry the one picture is upside down.


My camera is having trouble downloding to my computer so I could only scan what fit in the scanner. But along with this picture there was also some really cute ribbon.a star on a stake that will go in my flower pot and a really cute flag tin in the shape of a heart. Also there is a beautiful thread winder shown in the picture but much prettier IRL.

I really enjoyed taking part in this exchange. Melissa, your stitching is supberb! Thank you SO much for a wonderful exchange :0)

Carolyn F, 4th of July squares arrived

Carolyn, your package arrived safe and sound. OMG you really spoiled me with all the goodies. Everyone the squares and goodies all came in a very nice american flag box (that is now on my entertainment center) along with some fabric, floss, pins, coaster/tile, etc. You can see it all in the pic. The squares are awesome and i think i am going to make them into a bean bag pillow thingie to go with the rest of my patriotic decorations on my fireplace.

Yay! A fabulous package came to me this week from Ruth. What a pretty set of squares! Love the colors, the perfect replica of my one day dream house.
