I will be mailing my squares out for Sharon B. on Saturday morning. I would send them tomorrow, but unfortunately I have to be home to interpret a mortgage change. I do have the squares finished tho, and I think you will love them Sharon!

Round 6 - Cathy Boyd's Squares

My apologies for such a late post - I wanted to thank Catherine for her lovely squares that I received for Round 6 - the design (prairie school) is absolutely gorgeous and colours chosen were just lovely, for some reason my picture decided to load sideways but you can get the idea!!!. Catherine sent some beautiful material and a lovely post it note set which my daughter has now taken command of. Here is a picture which I hope will do the real thing justice. Thanks again Catherine for being a lovely fair and square partner. I know that you are still waiting on mine that seem to have been lost in the postal black hole!! I was just posting to let Suzanne S know that I had sent my squares a few weeks ago but just got an email to say she received them and now see a lovely little pic below!! thanks suzane for being a great earth day partner and glad you like your goodies - keep in touch.
Also to Cathy B my Round 6 partner - your squares have not arrived yet but I will email the minute they do!! can't wait. Yours are on their way but if my Earth Day squares are any indication the mail from the Land of Oz is being sent by slow snail mail. I loved the blue thread as it is my favourite colour along with the accompanying design chart and also the beautiful french button postcards which are just lovely and have a special position on my sewing room wall so that I can admire them. thank you for a lovely exchange Annemeik and I hope to remain email friends as I enjoyed talking with you.

I received my wonderful squares from Sharon. She stitched a bee design by the Drawn Thread and I love how she did her personalized square with the beehive. She also included a kit with a new to me technique and I look forward to stitching it.

Squares from Annemiek - Round 5

Dear all, sorry for the late posting - camera was toast for a while but it has been fixed and all is working now.

My many thanks to the wonderful Annemiek who sent me the most lovely blue square (my favourite colour), extremely fine needlework and just an adorable picture. Along with some beautiful french postcards of buttons (another favourite thing of mine) and a gorgeous patchwork/cross stitch pattern. I could not fit everything in the photo but safe to say I loved the squares very much and loved the other goodies as well. Thank you for being a wonderful fair and square partner and being understanding of my delays when my mum was ill. I hope you have received my squares and that you like them. Dearest Annemeik, thank heavens I heard from you - I am so sorry about my email I had not idea there was any problem, can you please email Vonna for my email address in case what you have is different and try again if you like. I will email an alternative address to Vonna that you can use also. Your squares should be arriving soon. I did email Vonna to let her know my mother had been quite ill which is the reason for the delay in you receiving your exchange. Dear Diana, thanks so much for the lovely surprise I got this afternoon when I arrived home from work. What a great end to a friday - the squares are beautiful - so neat and lovely, you have lovely neat needlework. Thank you also for the lovely patterns and skein of gorgeous "delphinium" blue thread by Caron- i love love love blue, it is gorgeous, I shall keep it for something special.
