these very pretty squares were done by Sharon V. It is hard to tell in my picture but there are beads on these as well. She also sent along some sweet little hand made items and an original design for a scissor fob she has made which is very nice!

Hi Mary Kathryn - I meant to mail your squares today, but when I got out of my car at work this morning, I tweaked something in my back, and now I can hardly move! Getting in & out of the car to get to the post office just does not sound fun! I'm really sorry for the delay, but I will mail them tomorrow!

Christmas round participants - your help appreciated!

Long story short - internet company sold to other company, DSL service horrible, not their fault, bought new router, still horrible....looking for new provider....

It is really difficult for me to get on the internet and especially to visit this blog where there are so many pictures to load. I get kicked off before I can search out the Christmas Squares updates, if you could email me when you send/receive it would be hugely appreciated. I can usually check my email since it loads pretty fast.

At the very minimum please tag your posts with 'Holidays - Christmas 2008' using the tag feature when you post.

a basketful

I've finished up all the squares I have received up to this point - 10 in all. It is nice to have them displayed in one spot.

These are filled with ground walnut shells and have a very nice weight, great for holding down things on my worktable when it's breezy or if I'm working with rumpled or curling fabric.

I was going to put tassels on these but in the end went with a simple little bead detail on the corners. I'm signed up for 4 more exchanges in 2008 - I think I need a bigger basket :0)
