Hello? Is this thing on? Is anyone reading this blog, and more importantly, is anyone interested in participating in the exchange again? I'd love to see this group reactivated. I've met some incredibly lovely stitchers through this exchange.
I wanted to share a no sew cube I made with squares received in 2012 from Pokua. (You can see the front and back in that post)
This cube will be a lovely companion to another exchange I finished in the same manner, this one from Jeanie.

my squares from Ruth
These are the squares I received from Ruth. Aren't they gorgeous?
I had to finish them right away into a pin cushion. Usually I use the signature square on the back of the pillow but this time I placed them both on the front. It would be a shame hiding this lovely apricot tree on the back.
Thank you so much Ruth. I love my new squares.

Round #29 from Pokua
I can't believe I forgot to post this here!
This is my second international F&S exchange in a row, this time from Australia. I was paired up with Pokua who stitched me this beautiful piece (in my favorite color). She stitched it in honor of Debbie Draper, who sadly passed away in early April.

Warning-- Post likely to case Square Envy --
I warned you.... here are the LOVELY squares Daniela T. did for me:
Do you see the Finnish flag she added to the Maryse house? I'm always going to think of this as my little cottage along a fjord.
Thanks, Daniela!!!!!!!!

Round 29 to Becca
Hi ladies - Becca asked me to post a picture of the squares I did for her for this round. She mentioned in her profile that she liked Americana themed items, which aren't as available in Canada as they are in the States. And I had bought a cute pattern from Threadwork Primitives (Nan Lewis) a few months back that I was just itching to stitch. The results are below. Becca wrote that she received them and loves them - and that makes me happy and very glad to be part of this group of wonderful stitchers.Linda

Round #29 Received from Pam
I received my squares from Pam K. today and they are beautiful!!!
Pam says the sampler is mostly by Madame Chantilly. The large peacocks are her adaptation of a Midsummer Night Design's peacock. The threads are HDF and the fabric is Cream Belfast. I LOVE THEM!!! Thank you Pam!

My squares from Jill
I see needlebook written all over these darling squares. They're from Blackbird Designs' Stitchers Journey and my photography skills don't do them justice. Thanks, Jill, they're lovely!

Round 29 from Becca
I'm very late in posting the pix of my great squares from Becca. She saw from my profile that I love snowmen and just look what she did for me!!!! All that backstitching - you're my hero Becca as I HATE to backstitch. I just love the little guy and the row of his dancing nephews on the signature square too. Thank you so very much. I've decided to name him Ontario, what do you think?Linda

They're done! Done. Done. Done. Oh the happy dancing. They'll go in the mail on Wednesday (they would get mailed tomorrow, but my city is being shut down by protesters. Sigh.)
Happy unpacking!

Daniela T. -- floss toss update
Hi, Daniela, I have been swamped on a special project for work so I have gotten no stitching done all week, but I have managed a floss toss for your squares. Want to see?
Front square (mostly as called for in the pattern)--- the threads are laid out on the fabric I'm planning on using for the squares:
Front square once I adjusted for preferences and dye-lot vagaries:
Signature square (So far.... it is early days though. Things could change.):
Everything look ok to you? lol Well as best as you can tell given you have no idea what I am stitching?
I do believe I am going to have fun.... that is if I ever make it out from under work!
