Fair & Square finishes

I bought myself a new sewing machine just a few weeks ago and finally started turning my received Fair& Square pieces into finished objects. I've decided to finish them all into little pin cushions and display them together with my ostrich egg in a big basket. This basket is centered on my living room coffee table. It makes me smile every time when I pass by that basket and remember all those great exchanges I had (and still have) in this group.

I received this beautiful Chatelaine design from Jenn F along with a skein of her own hand dyed thread in daffodil which, of course I forgot to include in the photograph! Thank you, Jenn, I love my violets which I photographed on some violets in my garden! Jenn sent a single piece of fabric which is why I did not photograph the back.

I received today the round # 10 squares from Gillie. Thank you so much, they are absolutely adorable and it's my favorite color too.

I was thinking of collecting squares and making a quilt, but in case that this is the first square I received in this group, it will get a special place. I think I will cover a nice wooden box with it and place it on my desk for all the little stuff laying around, like business cards or paper clips.
