Round 8 from Diane M

I have received my square from Diane M and she has asked that I put the photos up for her.

She stitched me a beautiful design from Prairie Schooler and its over one, so small and intricate it is beautiful to look at, I just dont know how she could stitch soo small. I truly love them and will treasure them always. Thank you Diane.

I did manage to make my way to the post office last evening. Lisa's squares are on their way from California to Western Australia via Priority Mail. Hopefully they'll arrive by the end of next week. I do hope you like them, Lisa. (I'm quite pleased with how they turned out, and I have it near the top of my "to do" list to stitch some for myself if you don't take me up on the offer to send them back if you don't like them! ;-) )

I received lovely LHN squares from Lisa V today. She used selected motifs from The Bookshelf to create her own design, and I just love what she stitched! I have asked Lisa to post photos because of all that's going on with me right now. (I will try to post an update on my own blog about that soon.) THANK YOU, Lisa! Round 7 Laurie & Lisa V

Yesterday I received my squares from Laurie for Round 7. She stitched a Pine Mountain Design titled "Bless Ewe" using DMC, WDW & Gentle Arts threads and a white rayon floss for the sheep, which really makes him stand out. I also received a wonderful zipper bag that Laurie made herself, a CCN chart, some floss and ribbon.

Thank you Laurie, I love it all.

I have also included the photos of the squares that I stitched for Laurie and the extras that I sent in her parcel. The design was taken from a magazine as I found out that Laurie likes tea and the colour purple, I thought the tea cup was quite appropriate in its lovely lilac colours.

I really enjoyed my first round on Fair & Square.
