Round 9 Squares Have Arrived

These lovely round 9 squares from Lei B. arrived this morning. Thank you so much Lei! What a coincidence that we both stitched a cottage/house for each other. Now I just have to decide how to "finish" them.

Round Nine From Nicola.....

Yesterday I received my round nine squares from Nicola. She knew from my blog that I like cottages and stitched this beautiful cottage from a Cross Stitcher Magazine. Like I said on my blog, I have never stitched a cottage so this will be the first. Perfect start, don't you think? Everyone have a nice night.

I received these lovely round 8 squares from Maureen on Saturday. She tells me that the design is from The World of Cross Stitching magazine. The colours are just gorgeous, they are so me. I think these will probably be made up into a pin keep. Thank you so much Maureen!

I received these beautiful squares from Nicola yesterday. I wish the picture showed the beauty of the stitching and all the beads better. Thank you so much Nicola, I love the goodies also. I plan to make this into a hanging pinkeep, I will post a picture as soon as I do...

Round 6 Squares Received

I have received these lovely round 6 squares from Terry P. She saw that I liked LHN designs and so stitched the tree from the Willow Tree Inn. I also have a liking for Swaledale sheep, a black faced breed from The Yorkshire Dales in Northern England, and as I also love blackbirds this design was very appropriate. Terry also included some pretty ribbons and threads. Thank you very much Terry. This was my first round and I've really enjoyed taking part in this exchange.

Introducing myself

Hi, I'm new here so would like to introduce myself. I'm Nicola, 50 years old, married to Keith for 30 years, with one adult son, and I live in England. I've been stitching for about 18 years now, mainly cross stitch, but I have dabbled a bit in hardanger. I'm looking forward to taking part in round 6, you all seem to have so much fun with this exchange. I've had a look around the blog and everyones stitching is just great!
