My squares from April K arrived today. They are so nice, and I hope to make a beaded scissor fob to go with them. I have not made a beaded one, but a beaded one with a Halloween theme tempts me :)

Well I think a change purse would be lovely. I had to laugh about you wishing you were at Sturgis and then finding a piece stitched there :) in your mail !

Starry Starry Chicken

Yesterday I was very very unmotivated at work so I spent the day poking around on various people's stitching blogs so I could be motivated to stitch when I got home. I was out on Laura M's blog and noticed that she'd been out to Sturgis and became a slight bit envious ;-).

So it was amusing when I got home to this:

Pictures of Summer Round Exchange

Here are pictures of what I stitched for Laura M. It's The Trilogy's Summer Tree.
And here's what Laura M stitched me! It's by The Cricket Collection but the name escapes me. She finished it into a basket lid with her signature lining the bottom. I have it in my second stitching corner (that's slowly growing) and as soon as I wake up it's there looking at me :-) I know it was a summer exchange but I *luv* that she stitched me a Halloween piece because I wanted to throw a Halloween Party in July but couldn't but when the package came I had my own little Halloween Party in July when I did a happy dance after opening the package!

Laura I received your exchange on Thursday but I just got the time to post a thank you here. I love the basket and the raven is one that I have in my stash to stitch :-) I love it and I love the fabric you chose for it.
