My apologies for such a late post - I wanted to thank Catherine for her lovely squares that I received for Round 6 - the design (prairie school) is absolutely gorgeous and colours chosen were just lovely, for some reason my picture decided to load sideways but you can get the idea!!!. Catherine sent some beautiful material and a lovely post it note set which my daughter has now taken command of. Here is a picture which I hope will do the real thing justice. Thanks again Catherine for being a lovely fair and square partner. I know that you are still waiting on mine that seem to have been lost in the postal black hole!! I have been working on other squares that I am happy to send in place of the originals. Waiting to hear from you. Best wishes and fond regards, Sharon B.x x x

Thanks Ruth, you're a gem!!!
Just logged in to post a photo of the beautiful squares stitched for me from Ruth and I see they're up already! Thanks so much for putting them up... I've just got a major assignment handed in! They are delightful and I can't wait until exams are over so I can turn them into something pretty for my lounge room! When I do I'll pop up a photo so you can all see how beautifully they match the colour of my lounge room! Thanks also for all the pretty little bits! It's been heaps of fun doing this exchange and I can't wait to get going on the next round! Thanks again Ruth, hope to see you DownUnder one day! Lol, Mairi

Round 6 from Dani B Canada received
I received a lovely parcel from Dani in Canada when I got home from work last night.
The design is from The Drawn Thread web site. The pattern is a name tag and the stitching by Dani is excellent. Also in the parcel was a Just Cross Stitch Magazine which are harder to find in Australia now, plus some lovely threads and a low cal. chocolate bar (which I shared with my husband as soon as the photos were taken !!) Many thanks Dani for the beautifully stitched squares.

Round 6 squares from Rima!

A couple of days ago Rima sent me a big envelope with lots of goodies.
She made me a wonderful flower pattern with pink (one of my favorites) and purple (one of her favorites) mixed together. What a nice thought!
She also spoiled me with two kits, a wonderful yarn - we both like to knit and crochet, and more.

Thank you so much, it´s been a great exchange!!

Thank you Christina L!
I received these beautiful squares from Christina! Thank you very much!

When Christina asked me what I would like, I requested if something local/indigenous would be possible. Christina says that the pattern in the center is a reworked pattern from an old weaving technique called "opphamata". It was used around Sweden as far back as the 16th century. PS: She also stitched my initials and location.

I also received gifts from her vintage collection! Yay. More details on my blog.
Thanks again, Christina.
