I received Lin's package containing my squares for round 4. Here's a picture:

I love the squares Lin. And love the floss you included. Now to decide how I'm going to finish them (maybe I'll try a pinkeep).

Thanks again Lin!!!

Squares Sent to ChrisB

Hey Chris! Your squares were mailed Saturday.

Hope you enjoy them!

Now I'll be taking a break from Fair and Square for a while. Job requirements have reduced my stitching time. Plan to check in to see the lovely squares.

Lin, your squares are on their way...

I just dropped your squares off at the post office. Hopefully, you will have them in a couple of days. I took pictures before I mailed them. If you want me to post pictures when you get them, let me know.

This was my first time participating in Fair & Square, and it was hords of fun.

Vonna, please sign me up for Round #5 please.

And.... Happy New Year to everyone.

Round 3 Square Received From Jenn

These squares came from Jenn in Connecticut. Love how she did the geometric design on the diagonal.

Thanks for the lovely squares, Jenn.

Catch up Post for Round 2 Square Received

Dug out my camera today after Vonna's "chastising" of us for not posting. Sorry Vonna.

My round 2 partner was Dani and these are the lovely squares that she sent to me. She also included pretty pink flosses!

Thanks, Dani.

Received my squares from Dani!

The package was in my stack of mail when I returned from Celebration of Needlework on Monday evening. Had to turn around and leave on another business trip. Will open the package and post a pic this weekend. Nothing like keeping you all in suspense! LOL (Dani, feel free to post the pic if you wish)

Dani, Your Blocks Were Mailed Today!

You should get them in 6-10 days, according to the post office guy. I didn't have time to take a pic of them before they left.

I'm leaving for Celebration of Needlework tomorrow and will be gone for the week. I'll make sure to call home regularly and ask if your package arrived. You can post a pic of the squares you sent to me, if you would like.

Vonna, please sign me up for round 3!

Sue's Pin Keep

Sue finished her gorgeous blocks from Lin into this beautiful pin keep. The picture doesn't do the piece justice. Both the stitched blocks and finishing are incredible.

Sue received her square from me

She wrote a nice email about how her dinner guests liked them and commented on the colors.
So happy you like your square, Sue!

Greetings from Arkansas!

Hi everyone. I'm Lin from, uh, Arkansas. Proud Alpha of two chihuahuas and one DH. I work at a substance abuse treatment center and also have an ONS. With two jobs, stitching time can sometimes be difficult to come by. But, it manages to be available when REALLY needed.

Elegant is my catchword. I prefer understated designs that show off the stitching. But, never underestimate the power of just the right amount of bling.
Likes: geometrics, florals, pastels, warm & summery designs, cutesy stuff
Dislikes: primative, oranges/blacks

Looking forward to stiching with you all!

Lin
