Earth Day Squares from Melissa G

I received these gorgeous Earth Day squares from Melissa G last week. She also sent the wonderful goodies with it (there were chocolates too, but the daycare kids ate those before I could get a picture :) ) Thank you so much Melissa, I love them. I am sorry I didn't post earlier but my internet provider decided it did not like the F&S blog and wouldn't let me post anything to it.

Momma Joan - I got your squares!

Here are the lovely squares & goodies that my mother sent for me...It almost seems as though I should have sent her more, too! I don't even have to figure out how to finish them!

Here is the back:

And, my goodies, before Jacob has a fit about not using the computer...

I got "glittens" from Jill F's mom; a scissors; WDW in "White Chocolate"; some note cards; some mints; two Lizzie Kate Snippet's; some more linen for future Fair & Square projects; a pin cushion. I think that's it!

My Package Arrived!!!

I just got home from work and lo and behold there was a package awaiting me.

I was quite excited to open it and here is what I received:

These great squares from my daughter.

She also sent some wonderful goodies:

A flowered bag, that I am sure she made, two charms (a flower and MOM), 3 packages of crystals, two fat quarters of fabric that I believe are for the pattern for a "smart bag", and two cross stitch patterns.

I just LOVE my squares and goodies.
Thanks Melissa.

Also want to let you know that I mailed your squares today.

And Vonna sign me up for round 7. I am having a great time

LOVE my new Fair and Square Partner

Hello all,

I just needed to post about my Round 5 partner.

My daughter decided to join the Fair and Square Exchange
after she heard about it from me when I had joined the last
round. So out of 64 people what do you think the chance would
be that we would end up partners? Well it happened!!!! I couldn't
believe it. Especially after my friend Jill, another exchanger had
just said how funny it would be if we would get picked to be partners.

So after talking to my daughter, we have decided that we are going
to keep our partners.

Just thought I should share this story with all of you.

Have fun with your new partners.

And Vonna please sign me up for round 6. Thanks for all your
hard work on this exchange, it has been fun for me.

Joan

I'm so excited!

My name is Melissa & I'm from Tennessee; 29 years old, married for 3 years & I have a 10 month old son, Jacob.

I have been stitching for 16 or so years...since I was a young girl. I haven't done much this past year with the birth of my son, but I'm getting back to having some time!

My mom is Joan S & she told me about this site...I just had to participate when she told me about it! Definitely something I can fit in & get back into stitching...and such a great idea!

My blog is my son's - you can view it here.

THANKS!
Melissa.
