Square Received from Lizzie - Round 3

I received my beautifil squares from Lizzie this week, along with some beautiful Six Strand Sweet Skeins. Thank you so much Lizzie!!! I love it. I will make it into something special over the Christmas holidays and post a pic when it's done.

I think I'll be making them into a pinkeep... not 100% sure as yet... and as you know I may very well change my mind several times between now and the actual *finishing* time... ;-)

I got this squares from Lizzy today! Thank you so much, my dear friend! They are so beautiful and perfectly stitched! I just can´t decide how to finish, I think I´ll make a scissorsfob of them. Lizzy sent also a Little House Needleworks-kit, I have pics on my blog

I have known Lizzy about a half year now and she is such a wonderful friend so it was really nice to have her as my partner in this exchange. I´m really worried though and I have started to stitch a new set for Lizzy because the ones I sent her have been on their way for three weeks now and she hasn´t received them yet. Have patience, dear Lizzy, I hope I get the second set ready this week, so that I can send it for you.

Sandy stitched part of City Stitcher, Country Stitcher by Little House Needleworks for me... This is one of my favourite Designs by LHN, Sandy and I am tickled pink with them... I love the way you stitched the second square... I haven't decided yet what I'm going to make mine into... pinkeep, needlebook... friendship quilt... the possibilities are endless, however, whatever I decide to make them into, I know I will treasure them always!

I have so enjoyed getting to know you this round, Sandy... You are a special Lady and a lovely Soul and I am so happy to call you friend... :-) We share so many things, you and I... and I know the bonds of friendship started through this exchange will only grow stronger over time...

And a special thank you to Annemarie and Vonna for starting this special exchange... It's so wonderful to have the opportunity for stitching friends, old and new, to come together and share our love of stitching, and a wee bit of ourselves, through the lovely treasures we stitch for one another... Rambling Hello from Lizzy...

Thanks so much Annemarie and Vonna for organising this wonderful exchange! I'm so excited to be a part of this lovely group of stitchers and look forward to sharing squares with you all! :-)

I'm Lizzy from North Carolina... I have three adult children... My eldest son, Elisha is 26, my daughter, Brandy is 24 and my youngest son, Jamie is 21. We have five house cats... Gandalf the Grey, Shelley, Merlin, Casper and Bubbles... And an adorable new Brindle Tiger Stripe Pit Bull puppy, Sasha...

My stitching tastes are a wee bit on the eclectic side... I love anything Old fashioned, Primitive, Americana, Samplers, Quakers, Seasonal... Anything with Rabbits, Blackbirds/Crows or Cats... and some Mythical/Fantasy... I suppose you could say I love anything that strikes my fancy! A few of my all-time favourite designers are: Blackbird Designs ~ Homespun Elegance ~ Carriage House Samplings ~ La-D-Da ~ The Prairie Schooler ~ The Sampler Girl ~ Ewe & Eye & Friends ~ Sheepish Designs ~ The Workbasket ~ Little House Needleworks ~ Country Cottage Needleworks ~ Elizabeth's Designs ~ Bent Creek ~ Heart In Hand ~ The Trilogy ~ Praiseworthy Stitches ~ With My Needle ~ The Goode Huswife ~ Hillside Samplings ~ Hands to Work ~ Shepherd's Bush ~ Lizzie*Kate ~ Waxing Moon ~ I could go on and on... ;-) The only thing I'm not overly fond of are very cartoonish designs and geometric designs.

As for a theme... I don't have one... I'll be happy with anything my partner chooses. I'll be finishing my squares into smalls, and I am sure I will love whatever you stitch for me! And as for colours... I'm a wee bit partial to Antique Rose, burgundy, cranberry, mauve, evergreens, teals, sea greens and sea blues, yellows, earth tones, muted shades and shades of Autumn... So I guess you could say I love them all... :-)
