1st Round- Cathy's square for Yasmin

Hi, Cathy, I am sorry for posting up the picture soooo late.. I've been busy lately.. I love the square that you stitched for me. LHN is one of my favourite designers.. Your stitching is very neat especially the back and I am trying to find out how you did it. LOL..

Fair and Square from Yasmin

I received my Fair & Square block from Yasmin yesterday. She did her homework because she figured out that I was a big fan of Drawn Thread! Yasmin was so sweet; she also sent some fibers from Malaysia, a coin purse made with traditional Malaysian wedding fabric and a frogging needle! Thank you so much Yasmin. Yasmin received my square today and will be posting a picture soon.

I'm ready for round two...

Received my squares from Cathy

Thanks Cathy. I will post a picture later.

I sent it by registered and hope that it will reach you safely.. I think it will take about 10-14 days to reach you.

Yasmin - Your block is on it's way!

It will probably take awhile to reach you - it has a long way to travel! Please let me know when it arrives. Hope you like it!

Hi all

I came across this Friendship Square Exchange when I visited Barbara's blog recently and emailed Vonna to sign up. I'm really excited as this is my first international "friendship exchange". I'm Yasmin, 45 years old and a mom to 2 teenagers, a boy and a girl. I've been stitching for some years but on and off. Only recently have I started to stitch seriously. On the friendship square exchange, I love samplers especially french samplers, quakers, Prairie Schooler, LHN, Blackbird Designs, AMAP, Dessins DHC, CHS and Birds of a feather to name a few. I dislike cartoonmy, whimsical, biblical and mystical designs. I will be using my squares as individual pieces.BTW I love all colours esp those overdyes threads. Well, I'm going to start looking for patterns and 32 ct linen from my stash.
