Round #11 Squares from Nicky R.

What a nice surprise it was to get home from work last night and find my squares in the mail box! Nicky R. was my partner, and she stitched the "reading" block from the LHN Little Women series for me. It looks beautiful and I love the fact that it features books as a subject! I love to read as much as I love to stitch! Here is a picture:
I enjoyed this, my first Fair and Square round, and am looking forward to participating in others!

The Round 11 Squares from Suzanne arrived beginning of this week. She stitched a design from the Prairie Birds leaflet from Prairie Schooler for me. I love these two squares. The colors are so perfect. They are absolutely beautiful.

Round 11 Received from Bridget C

These are are lovely squares I received from Bridget. The words were very special as we have all been feeling so low with the devastation from the bush fires. It has made us aware of just how precious life is. There is still smoke around - seems it is just trying to remind us of the lives lost, our native animals and the bushland that will take a long time to recover.

Round #11 and Winter Exchange Received

I have received my squares for both Round #11 and Winter Round. First, Kaye from Alaska sent me a really cute pair of squares for Round #11 that will make a great pinkeep. I love the color. Jill was my partner for the Winter Round and she sent a wonderful wintery pair. Thanks to both of you. As soon as I finish these as pinkeeps I will post a picture.

These came the other day from Renee K - and they are just wonderful. She knows my passion for stitching. This is a motif from The Victoria Sampler's "Where Stitchers Gather." Don't you just love how she put all those needles in there?
