Wow, thank you so much Claire! I received my Spring round squares from Claire on Saturday - they're gorgeous! Claire tells me that they are a Gail Bussi design called 'Emily's Garden' - perfect for Spring and for me :)

Wow, look at these beauties! I'd asked Dani to stitch me something Christmassy for Round 10 and she sure delivered - this design is the Glory Bee contribution to the JCS 2008 ornament issue. I love the colours - so vibrant!

Seems that my grey cells are more scattered than usual. I thought I posted the lovely squares that Stephanie M sent me for the Christmas exchange last month. Oops. Barbara - thanks a million for these lovely squares which arrived today, I love them! I'm definitely going to finish these into an ornament for our tree (except we're not having a tree this year because we'll be away, but for future years, it will hang on a tree! This year, it probably may get a doorknob, or a lampshade - gotta still have my decorations up!).

Barbara stitched a Threads Through Time design from the JSC 2004 issue called 'Tiny German Sampler':

Stephanie hit on my taste perfectly with her choice of design!! The colors are much livelier IRL, but it's overcast and I'm too impatient to wait for a sunnier day before sharing a picture! :)

Halloween Squares Rec'd from Stephanie

I received a wonderful set of Halloween squares from Stephanie this week. I absolutely love them. She stitch the Headless Horseman. I love the colors and the fabric she selected. I also love her signature square. I finished these as a pinkeep and have it on display for the holiday already. Thank you Stephanie for the wonderful squares.

Autumn Squares Received

I just received my Autumn Squares from Stephanie M. in the mail today. They are beautiful! Unfortunately, I won't be able to take a picture until tomorrow. My son has the camera tonight for the home opener Minnesota Wild hockey game.

Jen R to Stephanie M - Hallowe'en Round

Wow, has Jen ever stitched me some beauties!! It's Jeannette Douglas’ Hallowe’en Pumpkin Ornament design from the recent JCS Hallowe’en issue. I’m so glad that Jen stitched them, because as soon as I got the magazine I admired Jeannette’s design, but thought that I probably wouldn’t stitch it myself because although I love the look of the fiddly stitches, I sometimes can’t be bothered to stitch them for myself. So I am thrilled that Jen bothered for me!


These squares are definitely getting finished off as a hanging ornament (eventually!)

Rather late in the day are my photos of the beautiful squares Stephanie stitched for me - I was especially delighted with this design as I had stitched it for my partner in a previous round and had put it to one side to stitch for myself at some future date - now I don't need too!!!!!!

And no sooner had my parcel from Clare been opened and exclaimed over, than another came through the door, this time my Autumn squares from Jill F. Jill chose to stitch a Brightneedle design for me - the Autumn design from the Season Petites leaflet. I love them Jill, thank you so much. I see a future as a floss tag for these squares. Look at Jill's wonderful over 1 stitching on the signature squares.
