Celebrate Summer from Rowyn

Here are the lovely summer squares I recieved from Rowyn at the beginning of the week, aren't they pretty? Rowyn also included a LHN chart, and a stunning fan card. Thank you very much Rowyn.

Rowyn thank you for a wonderful summer round sqaure - it arrived safely this morning. It certainly cheered up an otherwise foggy day. My pictures will be posted as soon as my camera is repaired(I dropped it in the sand on holiday last week)

Fair Square from Rowyn

Here is my Fair and Square exchange from Rowyn. I posted the squares themselves earlier. Rowyn's package included a stitching band with a beautiful green and gold border, a Jill Oxton Cross Stitch and Beading magazine, the most gorgeous piece of hand dyed fabric from Kiwi Illusions called "Ocean Blue" a postcard of Wellington and a notecard with a native bird on the cover. The squares are stunning and the entire package was a delight to open. Thank you Rowyn. I have enjoyed getting to know you and hope we shall stitch together again one day.

I received a lovely package from Rowyn in the mail the other day. Unfortunately, my camera is in for repair so my photo post is of the squares only. Rowyn has kindly posted the photo of the squares on her blog for me to copy. This is Papillions Tiny Little Quaker using DMC 99. Thanks girl - I love it.

She also gifted me with some bookmark banding, the most beautiful hand dyed fabric, a Jill Oxton Cross Stitch and Beading magazine, a post card of Wellington and the sweetest notecard with native birds on it. It has been a real pleasure partnering with Rowyn.

Rowyn's Square and Round 6

Here is a photo of Rowyn's squares. I have done a medallion from Paradigm Lost by Long Dog Samplers on 32 count antique white linen using DMC 4240. I added a little embellishment with Mill Hill Beads 02026 and some Swarovski Crystals. To see the rest of the package you can check out Rowyn's earlier post.

Hi there. I posted Rowyn's Fair and Square to her this morning. I will post a photo when she receives it. This has been my first exchange and I have really enjoyed it. I hope to do another one.

I've decided to join in the fun, and have signed up for the Fair and Square exchange.

I'm Rowyn and live near Wellington in New Zealand. I have three cats and an OH. :-) I've been stitching for about 15 years and am looking forward to getting more involved in exchanges.
