I.Love.Red.! Shelly picked out a great red for someone who's never stitched a red piece before. She adapted the design Petits Maisons Rouges by Tralala and used Belle Soie "Tulip." It's a perfect piece for me Shelley since I love red, saltbox houses, french designs and silks! Thank you so much for a lovely round.

My lovely squares from Daniela!

I just love them! Without knowing of my fondness for (obsession with, some might say) buttons Daniela has given me the perfect opportunity to search for just the right button to put in the middle of this darling heart. I thoroughly enjoy digging through my buttons. :) I think these squares will make a wonderful pinkeep with pearl pins around the outside to go with the mother of pearl button. Thank you so much, Daniela!



My squares from Pokua

Look at these beauties! Pokua stitched a red heart for Round 28 for me AND she added beads too! The picture just doesn't do justice to the varied shades of red in this heart and Pokua's wonderful signature square. Thank you so much for your great work on these pieces. Ladies.....if you haven't exchanged with Pokua yet, you are in for a treat.

My gorgeous squares arrived from Jennifer this morning. The pattern is called 'Tout en Rondeur Pour Jolie Boile d`amour'.  I hope I have that right Jennifer and was sitched with Crescent colours 'Ribbon Red' one over one.  So delicate.

My Beautiful Squares From Nancy!

The photo doesn't do Nancy's stitching justice as she used two beautiful reds and just a dash of white to really make it all pop!  They're gorgeous in person and I can't wait to stitch them together into an ornament!  Thank you so much Nancy!

I received the most beautiful squares yesterday from Christine - this is one of my favorite colors to see stitched, and I love the birds she stitched, from BBD's Christmas Garden book, with a change in the wording to personalize it. She even included a card with a pair of birds. Thank you so much, Christine.

Love My Squares

These squares for this exchange are some of the most favorite I've received since joining the Fair & Square Blog. Ruth put a lot of thought into making this design. Yes, this is one she created from a collection of birds & hearts from a dozen different patterns, as well as the words in the design. I love birds, hearts and of course red is my favorite color. I think Ruth may need to go into designing cross stitch charts for all! Thank you for thinking of me in this way!

Round #28 Signups are Open

Round #28 will be a Stitch Red Round in honor of American Heart Month in February.

The squares you stitch can be any design but must be stitched in red.

Signups are open now through January 6, 2012. The round will run from January 9 through February 20, 2012.
