Love My Squares

These squares for this exchange are some of the most favorite I've received since joining the Fair & Square Blog. Ruth put a lot of thought into making this design. Yes, this is one she created from a collection of birds & hearts from a dozen different patterns, as well as the words in the design. I love birds, hearts and of course red is my favorite color. I think Ruth may need to go into designing cross stitch charts for all! Thank you for thinking of me in this way!

Fair & Square finishes

I bought myself a new sewing machine just a few weeks ago and finally started turning my received Fair& Square pieces into finished objects. I've decided to finish them all into little pin cushions and display them together with my ostrich egg in a big basket. This basket is centered on my living room coffee table. It makes me smile every time when I pass by that basket and remember all those great exchanges I had (and still have) in this group.

Gorgeous Squares from Renee

I received these gorgeous squares this morning from Renee K, arent they fabulous. Thank you so very much Renee for making these for me, they will be treasured.

Fall Is In the Air!

As I drove home Friday from working out of town all week, I couldn't help but notice the leaves changing in vibrant reds, golds, yellows, etc. I love this time of year so imagine the thrill I received when upon returning home, my Round 27 exchange package had arrived in the mail from Elaine M. She could not have picked out a better design or color choice to do for me. Thank you Elaine for keeping my fall fever going!

These beautiful Christmas squares are from Paula D. and I love them. I almost chose the same design for her! Great minds thinks alike. Thanks for stitching them for me. I cannot wait to get hers finished and in the mail soon.

Merry Christmas To Me!

I received this in the mail yesterday and was ECSTATIC! Nancy K. put thought into my stitched piece. I love samplers, birds, trees, the color red and Christmas. The design is from the 2000 JCS ornament issue from Merry Cox Samplers. She stitched it all into one piece and it was on my list of "To Do One Day". I cannot thank her enough. She made my Christmas Merry & Bright. Thanks, thanks, thanks.

My ornament from Renee

I received a most wonderful Christmas exchange from Renee K.! I received it on Tuesday - I'm sorry to be posting so late! Renee stitched me a beautiful DT Christmas house, and I'm looking forward to turning it into an ornament to hang. I think that will be my project on Christmas day.
I will get a picture taken today and add it here.

I also posted mine to her yesterday. We've been dealing with a sick cat who is losing weight and not eating and my focus has been diverted a bit from stitching.

I received these squares from Maren this past Monday. They are truly beautiful. My family loves "hummers" and the picture does not do the exquisite stitching justice. Thank you Maren for a lovely piece!

Fall Round-Scrumptious

I couldn't have asked for better squares to be stitched for me. Sabine did a wonderful job. I love samplers and fall colors and these squares fit the bill. I cannot thank her enough for a wonderful exchange piece. The design is "Acorns and Owls" by Blue Ribbon Designs.

Halloween/Autumn Exchange

I have received Waxing Moon's Winter, Summer and now the Autumn bird over the course of this exchange year. I was very excited to receive this and am glad to meet such thoughtful people. Thank you soooo much Linda B. for these great squares.

I received these wonderful, wonderful Quaker Pumpkin and signature squares from Renee K today!! Renee did a fantastic job - they are just perfect. She used a Weeks thread called Autumn Leaves - isn't it great? Thank you thank you thank you Renee!!

Round 14 Received

I was on vacation all week and arrived home last night to find this in my mail. I was delighted to find this design done in redwork (my favorite color!) What a great package to find after being weary from all the travel. It is actually a freebie design I was contemplating to stitch. Pokua, thank you so much for a beautiful piece.

Summer Round Received

I was touched by the thought process that Karen R. from Australia put into stitching this piece for me. She researched through my blog and noted that I had received the winter version of this design (Winter Cardinal) from a previous F&S exchange. She then stitched "Summer Sparrow" for me from Waxing Moon. I was tickled to receive this. Thanks so much, sweet Karen.
