Squares received from Christine R - TWO SETS!!!
Christine, BOTH sets of squares showed up this weekend. I was out of town helping DS#2 move to CA and came home to find TWO envelopes from you, apparently mailed weeks apart. I only opened the one mailed earlier and I love the squares. Thank you so much! I'll post pics later today or tomorrow for everyone to see. In the meantime, I believe I should return the second envelope but I'll email you regarding this startling development. Thanks again! The squares are perfect. Janice

Spot of Spring Square
I love it, love it, love it!!!
I was going to stitch this one cause I love the
robins
and their fat tummies.

Also March is my birth month
and it has daffodils in the stitched piece.
When I first looked at it,
I didn't
have my glasses on and it was backwards
but it looked just like the front.
Great job of stitching is what I am
trying to say.

Thanks you so very much for this beautifully
stitched work of art with a needle.
I will cherish it always.
I just went and bought Spot of Summer
and Spot of Fall.
Will get Spot of Winter
next payday.
God Bless your stitching fingers ~
Lenna

On the way to work I plan on mailing your squares.
I am sorry they are late.
I got the date mixed up with the
4th of July and I looked twice.
Hope you like them.
There is also a small surprise, too!
Enjoy!!!
God Bless ~Lenna

Squares Received from Janice M.
Hello. Sorry for the late post, but I have been doing battle with a new camera trying to get a good picture to post. I received these wonderful squares from Janice M. for the Round 17 swap. They are just lovely. I can't wait to finish them for display in my craft room.
Thanks Janice!
Thanks Janice!

Christmas Squares!

Very late pic post
I want to sincerely apologize to my exchange partners, Peg H. and Janice M. I've had their squares for quite some time, but between health issues and then my computer fried (if it's not one thing...) I haven't been able to uphold my part of the exchange agreement, and I sincerely, sincerely apologize to them both. Their squares are B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! And yes, I know they're sideways, but I'm on a borrowed computer that doesn't have my editing software. I can't figure out how to change the layout.
Just look at these. This first one is from Peg. I have this pattern on my To Do pattern pile (you know the one...it's currently stacked ceiling high in a corner of the living room, lol) and I love it. I'm wanting to start a Holiday Wall, where I can hang themed designs and change it out throughout the year. So here is my very first Halloween themed square. I'm so going to get it framed and hang it on my very bare wall. lol

And this is Janice's design. Isn't this pretty? I've got a church right across the street that looks almost exactly like this!

Thank you both for stitching for me!

4th of July Squares
I don't see that Beth posted the squares I made for her for the 4th of July round so I'm going to do so now. I'm sorry the pic isn't better than it is. I should have scanned them. In any case, here they are. The starbursts came from a portion of a Calico Crossroads pattern and were stitched with Kreinik metallics. The wording was done with some WDW & GAST overdyeds.
