I received these beautiful squares from Linda B. The colors are absolutely gorgeous. I adore pinks and greens .... so fresh and spring-like. And, if you look closely, there's even a little butterfly in this garden. How perfect is that!?!
Thank you Linda! I love it!

Marcy's Butterfly
Look at this beautiful butterfly!
Marcy's squares to me arrived safe and sound (they had to travel about 60 miles) and THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!
I have been paired with Marcy before and she is an excellent stitcher. She sent me this very very pretty blue (my favorite color) butterfly for the Nature exchange. The colors are even prettier in real life. And would you believe - my first ever butterfly!!!! Thank you so much Marcy. Yours are in the mail today.
Many thanks. Linda

My squares are on their way to C in DC with apologies for their late delivery. I was in Annapolis last week and fully intended to mail them from there, but then left home without them!! But upon my return on Monday, I took care of that. And found, to my delight, my squares from Cheryl. Without further ado.....Aury Patriotic Heart - my first one! Thank you so much Cheryl. So sorry we didn't get a chance to meet for ice cream and exchange in person.

Round 29 to Becca
Hi ladies - Becca asked me to post a picture of the squares I did for her for this round. She mentioned in her profile that she liked Americana themed items, which aren't as available in Canada as they are in the States. And I had bought a cute pattern from Threadwork Primitives (Nan Lewis) a few months back that I was just itching to stitch. The results are below. Becca wrote that she received them and loves them - and that makes me happy and very glad to be part of this group of wonderful stitchers.Linda

more finishes
This morning I felt a lot like sewing something. So I finished my remaining Fair & Square pieces into little pincushions.
Here is an updated picture of my Fair & Square basket. Soon I need to get a bigger one. The basket is the center piece of our dinner table and gets a lot of attention whenever we are having guest.
And these are the three pillows I made today:
from Linda B. in 2009
from Milly D. in 2011
from Pam K. in 2012

Round 29 from Becca
I'm very late in posting the pix of my great squares from Becca. She saw from my profile that I love snowmen and just look what she did for me!!!! All that backstitching - you're my hero Becca as I HATE to backstitch. I just love the little guy and the row of his dancing nephews on the signature square too. Thank you so very much. I've decided to name him Ontario, what do you think?Linda

My squares from Pokua

Look at these beauties! Pokua stitched a red heart for Round 28 for me AND she added beads too! The picture just doesn't do justice to the varied shades of red in this heart and Pokua's wonderful signature square. Thank you so much for your great work on these pieces. Ladies.....if you haven't exchanged with Pokua yet, you are in for a treat.

YOWSER!!!!!!!!!

Ruth's squares flew through Nebraska and safely landed in Pittsburgh. And just look at them! Remember the floss toss she did - turned into these lovely lighthouses and Quaker waters - two things I am really really like. Her stitching over one is wonderful and she put so much thought into how to incorporate the Quaker motifs and then 2 lighthouses. Pt Loma is Ruth's favorite and a west coast beauty. Erie is the closest one to me - and Ruth correctly researched that. How lucky am I to receive these squares. Now I need to do justice to the finishing. Thank you again Ruth for sharing your imagination and skills.
