An allegedly fair square.....

Tuula has received the replacement squares I stitched for her missing Fair and Square round 7. She said she like purples and blues and kitchen motifs so look what I found for her --

How perfect is that?! lol I couldn't believe my luck when I turned the page in one of my jumbo books of patterns and found it.

From Ruth to Tuula...

I got the most beautiful squares from Ruth on Wednesday. And she has really read my blog carefully. The design was a kitchen motive and the colours just my favourite purple and blue. My lovely squares stitched by Tuula arrived today from Finland. I love them, and they made me smile. I think Tuula will know why when she receives the squares I stitched. The color is just beautiful and I just can't decide if I should make a fob or a thread tag. I wish all my dilemmas were so much fun.

I promised Loye that I publish this picture of the squares that I stitched for her as soon as she receives her package, as her camera doesn´t work. I got the most beautiful squares from Jill. Just look how wonderful colours and so pretty design. And Jill, how sweet of you to send me so much goodies. I´m nearly speechless! A new pair of scissors, ribbon and cotton, DMC colour variations thread and the best of all: a new thimble for my collection. Thank you so much!

I Love My New Stitching Friend Tuula!!!

When I got home from work today, I had a beautiful package in the mail from Tuula. And I do mean beautiful package!
I had to take a picture of the envelope, it is so beautiful.




Inside were my fair squares. Tuula stitched a peacock which is a small part from Long Dog Samplers "Virtue" with DMC threads.

It's kind of funny that Tuula and I should be paired up. We learned that we have the same likes. Tuula said that when she was reading my blog she kept thinking that she was reading about herself.

One thing is that we both collect thimbles. She sent me a thimble that is made from genuine reindeer bone from Lapland. She also sent me a personalized keyring that is made of tiny Lapland trees. These are both very cool! The pictures are not going to do any of these things justice. I also got a piece of banding and 2 beautiful skeins of thread.

Beautiful squares from Denise, lovely hand-cream ( how could you know that dry skin is my big problem!), a beautiful chart by Bent Creek and some cute lace ribbon. I received my squares from Tuula in Finland today. They are absolutely beautiful! I know this picture cannot show how beautiful they truly are! The stitching is over 1 and I am just blown away by how perfect the stitches are. And if the stitching isn't enough, Tuula sent along wonderful goodies.
