I received a lovely Square from Nicky R last Friday. I am sorry i could not post immediately then as I am having internet connection problems for a week already and still do. The telecoms people cannot find what's wrong yet! I am logging from elsewhere.

Nicky stitched me a beautiful LHN piece and no, the fabric is not as crumpled as we all mentally picture it to be . LOL! I love it, it's my fave designer and I will post a pic as soon as my broadband is OK. Hugs to you, Nicky!

Blocks from Margaret W.

These are my beautiful blocks from Margaret Wong in Kuala Lumpur! It is a combination of LHN patterns, She also sent me some beautiful Overdyed threads from a local lady in my favourite colour, I feel so lucky! She is a wonderfully neat stitcher.

Margaret, if you are reading this post please excuse the unpressed blocks i mailed you. I completed and posted my squares whilst on holidays and i did not trust the rusty old iron at the place we were staying and i wanted to mail by the deadline. I am so sorry but i am sure that you will be able to press them out with a more trust worthy iron although i am very sorry, especially seeing the beautiful way yours arrived. Please forgive me!!

I received a lovely square from Carol on Friday!! Thanks so much Carol, I love the LHN Friendship square!! It's beautiful and just what I want. I have been meaning to get these LHN charts, in fact after receiving yours, I signed up for the Country Cottage auto yesterday!!

I am really excited to be here. I have been reading your blogs and am happy that I will finally be doing some exchanges with you.

I'm Margaret Wong from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You can call me MW since we have another Margaret here (Hi Margaret! :D ). I'm 49 and have been cross stitching for more than 20 years. I have been doing exchanges with my local groups and also an international Christmas ornament exchange Group. I love Prairie schooler, LHN, CCN, Brightneedle, Homespun Elegance, Drawn Thread, SB and all French designs. I do not particularly like mystical, cartoons, religion and geometrics. Other than that, I do not really mind any designs.

I shall be finishing my squares into a wall hanging or a bell pull. I have not decided yet but will probably have a good idea when I see the squares I receive. Here's to a great friendship exchange! Cheers!
