Hello!

I'm thrilled to be a new member of this group. I live in Forest Falls, a small town at 6,000 feet in the San Bernardino Mountains of southern California. I'm a teachers' union president - that's my full-time job, and have been an Air Force daughter, officer, then wife, and now mother. My husband's retired from the AF, and our 25-year-old son is in the AF and stationed in Japan. He's coming home on leave Monday for 3 weeks. Our 26-year-old daughter works at a huge Indian casino in a nearby town. My husband's a fly-fishing fanatic, and we go wherever the trout are. My passions are: my job (advocacy for teachers and public education), cooking, cross stitching, and traveling with my husband in our 27-foot Keystone Sprinter. I have two other blogs - one for cooking (Cookin' With Cyndi) and one for the travel (Wanderlust). But my blog for stitching is the one I hope you'll visit (if you want) - Just One More Stitch.
