I know the rules say the squares should be 6 x 6 inches and no smaller. I cut a piece of 32 ct. jobelan evenweave 6 x 6 inches but there is no way I can get it in a hoop unless I use a very small hoop and I cannot fit it on a q snap hoop.
What size are your squares when you are working the design and what size are the squares when you mail them out? From looking at all the pictures of the finished squares, they appear to be larger than 6 x 6 inches. I don't want to goof up on my first exchange so any feedback is welcome.

I cut mine 6x6 and they fit on a 6 inch Q-Snap. It's a tight fit, but it does work.
I cut mine 6X6 and I just stitch them in hand.
I stitch in hand, but I do start with a larger fabric so I don't have to worry as much about the centering. I trim them down to size after the stitching is all done.
I typically stitch in hand. For my last three sets I have used the same piece of fabric and cut it after it has been stitched (I used thread to show the boarders of the 6X6 square) so if you did that you could use a frame or q-snaps. Good luck!
Excellent idea Dani! Now why didn't I think of that? DUH
