Fair & Square finishes

I bought myself a new sewing machine just a few weeks ago and finally started turning my received Fair& Square pieces into finished objects. I've decided to finish them all into little pin cushions and display them together with my ostrich egg in a big basket. This basket is centered on my living room coffee table. It makes me smile every time when I pass by that basket and remember all those great exchanges I had (and still have) in this group.
Here are pictures of each single pillow (only the front with the main square, the squares with the names are on the back of each pillow, you can see those on my blog)
from Gillie - this was my very first exchange

from Jennifer in 2009

from Kathy in 2009 - I had my bicycle stolen that summer, so Kathy decided to stitch a bicycle for me. This exchange was very special too me.

from Kim - this one is completely stitched 1 over 1

Wow - Not only did you do a beautiful job but what a great inspiration to the rest of us to finish off our squares! Thank you for sharing these!

So so cute - and I agree with Christine; a great way to finish the squares and display them. Isn't it amazing how a little bit of fabric and trim can really make the squares even more special!

Beautiful finishing with such pretty little extras like buttons and lace. They look perfect displayed in your basket!
