I'm so glad you like the squares! You are correct, the design is from Bent Creek. They are an adaptation of the November Twirls chart. I just recharted it to say "Autumn" instead of "November". I completely forgot to take a photo of the Hawaiian postcard I included, but here is a pic of the squares.

My name is Daniela, I'm originally Dutch but now living already for a while in the beautiful South of Finland.

She also made me the tiniest little over-1 cow fob, which I adore!  She said she saw pictures of my cow kitchen and had to stitch a cow fob for me.  The little cow fob is hanging on the baker's rack in my kitchen, right along with my other kitchen cows.

I received a wonderful set of Halloween squares from Stephanie this week. I absolutely love them. She stitch the Headless Horseman. I love the colors and the fabric she selected. I have completed all the round listings with accompanying dates today for 2009.
I've cut some rounds and brought back others based on participation of the rounds we had this year.

In 2009 we will have:

6 "REGULAR ROUNDS" - no themes, participants will stitch squares based on their assigned partner's Membership Profile LIKES/DISLIKES.

4 CELEBRATE THE SEASONS ROUNDS - Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall (I was going to cut these out, but I heard some rumblings about me cutting them, and Jill F. graciously agreed to moderate them for the upcoming year ~ thank you Jill! )

4 SPECIAL HOLIDAY ROUNDS - Easter, 4th of July, Halloween and Christmas

That's 14 Rounds offered throughout the 12 months of the upcoming year.

It is my hope that we all continue to send/receive GORGEOUS squares. I just recently have had a few designers e-mail me to tell me that this blog is exceptional and the squares both stitched and received gorgeous. Isn't that great?! So let's all continue to exchange fabulously stitched squares!

Two rounds received

I've received two sets of lovely squares this week. Mairi's for Round 9 arrived on Wednesday but I couldn't find my camera to take pics. Now I have the camera, but not the squares, and I find that my snaps don't do the lovely piece any justice. IRL, these are beautiful.
