There are quite a few Christmas Round participants who have not communicated with me that they have or will be sending their squares. Please be courteous and promptly mail and communicate your status regarding this round.
You need to follow the NEW instructions for posting a comment regarding sent and/or received squares. Instructions can be found on the main page as well as the Christmas Round page for updating your status.
The squares arrived. I love the little church. Thank you so much, you did a wonderful job. And I love the colour of the floss. I may have to use some of it to stitch another ornament for the tree since DH bought a big pre-lit one this year. We used to have just a little 3' tree.
My camera was out of town with DH for a few days so I'm late posting this. Thank you Suzanne for the beautiful Christmas squares you stitched for me. I hope to have this finished as an ornament and on the tree next week.
Melissa, Sabine wants for me to let you know that she does not have access to the internet, tv, telephone... since Monday this week. She is very happy that you like the squares that she stitched for you. I told her that you have shown a picture in this blog.
I finished the Thanksgiving squares I received from Jennifer B into a cube and the Autumn squares I received from Heather M into a hanging pinkeep. Jennifer and Heather, thanks again for great exchanges. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
I received these beautiful squares today from Sabine for the Christmas exchange. I just adore Prairie Schooler designs, so it's perfect for me, Sabine! I love how you repeated Santa's hat on your name square, too. Thank you so much!!
My squares to you are in the mail, but I'm not sure how long it will take for them to make it over there since the U.S. has a postal holiday this week. Hopefully they will be there soon. :-)
I received 2 sets of wonderful squares this weekend. My Round 10 squares arrived from Jeanie C. I have had this design in my stash but haven't stitched it yet but now here it is! I love the design and the color you chose. My Christmas round squares arrived from Joan S. I don't think I've seen this design before but it's wonderful and festive for the holiday season. Thank you both so much for such beautiful squares!
Michele you have my apologies for not posting these squares more promptly. I should have let everyone see them sooner! Aren't they wonderful? Thank you very much for stitching them for me! I really love them!
First off I want to apologise to Staci and Diane for taking so long to get the pictures of their beautiful squares up. I was delighted with all of them and have had them hanging up while i decide what to do with them! No that I've finally got passed the exhaustion of early pregnancy I'm trying to catch up on some long overdue jobs! Diane stitched this one so that it could be easily turned into a needleroll and now that I have found out what that is I think that will be my next project! I love the 3 dimensional effect of buttons and varied stitching! Thanks so much!
Staci sent this square for the Halloween round and since I love cats it was highly appropriate! Not quite sure what I'm going to do with it yet but I'm sure the inspiration will come to me one of these days!
Staci and I were paired for 2 rounds at it happened so unfortunately she probably feels she's lucked out with me as a partner being so slow but there you go. I don't know if she was psychic or what but the colours in this square are exactly the colours in my lounge room so it will probably be made into a little cushion or one of those stand thingies I've seen on Vonna's blog!
Thanks so much girls for your patience. I'm really sorry that you've caught me at a stage in my life where things have not being running too efficiently! By the way, I did find out that I'm having another girl last week so that will mean I can do more pretty stitching (and those "sister" patterns that seem to be everywhere won't be getting overlooked anymore!) Happy stitching!
My squares from Shelley arrived safely and I was thrilled to receive them as Shelley has been quite ill and had advised me of the delay. Unfortunately she will not be continuing with this exchange for the time being. The stitching on the squares I received is superb. The design is from Little House Needlework - currently my favourite designers.
This is the square I sent Shelley which she was unable to send a photo to the board. Unfortunately I cannot find where I took a photo of the second square with my name on it. Perhaps I forgot. I enjoyed stitching this design from The Prairie Schooler.
Vicki, I just received your squares in the mail today and I'm so excited!! I LOVE them!! Night & Day is so perfect for the quilt I'm going to put them in! Your stitching, the pattern and colors are beautiful! Thanks for making my 1st Fair & Square Exchange so wonderful:) (so sorry my pic isn't great.) Hugs! Cindy F.
I received the most beautiful Christmas squares from Colleen yesterday. They were just the pick me up I needed at the end of a very long day. I can't wait to finish them into an ornament to hang on my tree. Thanks for a great exchange Colleen!
Thank you Evelyn for the beautiful squares. I had this in my pile to stitch this Christmas, so now I can replace it with something else. It is beautiful and I am going to make it into a pinkeep with a hanger to put on my tree.
I received these cute little squares from Kendra in my mail yesterday. They are very cute and I really like the design. Thank you a bunch! I will try my best to get them finished into something and hanging on my tree this year.
I just received my Round 10 squares from Keane. The are beautiful! I just love them. Keane did a super job on them. They only thing I know about them though, is that she stitched them on 32ct. White Pearl Linen with Silk.
